Finding a good balance between the various “free” forms of building Back Links and the Pay Per Click advertising many people are using today is key to getting your Back Links covered. Most of these business owners who use SEO strategies are successful in getting customer attention through marketing over the internet. Since the Penguin algorithm update in September 2016, Google has been watchful for anchor text keyword density. One thing’s for sure though, Google is getting smarter. It’s now much harder to take shortcuts or to pull the wool over its eyes and cheat your way to the top – you have to earn your place. Take a look at which sites are currently winning the front page for the phrase you are hoping to win. Then, go ahead and link to a few of them within your own content. It can be within the body of the text, or you can include a few links at the bottom with a “More on This Subject” type of call to action (CTA). It may seem like this could lead eyes to a direct competitor, but don’t be afraid to break the mold and link to them anyway. If this happens too often, your site will be flagged by the search engine as unreliable, which of course affects your ranking. Search engines use links to crawl the web. Crawlers will flow from links between the internal individual pages on your website and they will crawl the links between different websites. If you provide valuable information on your website for visitors, design a good user experience, and implement all the known algorithm factors, your website has a good chance to move up on the search results list for your company’s targeted keywords.
